SF3 Advanced

The SF3 Spearfishing Course is a 3-day advanced program designed to push your spearfishing skills beyond SF2. Held in offshore waters with exposed conditions, it focuses on deep water hunting strategies, drift diving with advanced breakaway setups for large pelagic fish, and understanding fish behavior at greater depths. You’ll practice rescue techniques at 35m, sharpen breath-hold skills, and fine-tune equipment like float lines and custom rigs. To join, you must have completed SF2 or hold a Level 3 freediving certification from Molchanovs, AIDA, or a recognized agency, with the ability to dive 30m+. This course blends freediving mastery with precision hunting for those ready to tackle extreme spearfishing environments.

Advanced Spearfishing Course (SF3)

This three-day advanced course is designed to push the limits of your spearfishing abilities, building on the skills developed in the SF2 course. Set in offshore waters with challenging, exposed conditions, the SF3 focuses on mastering deep-water hunting strategies and high-risk scenarios.

Target Species and Strategy: Understanding fish behavior at greater depths and selecting optimal techniques for blue water and reef environments.
Deep-Water Rescue and Safety: Proficiency in rescue techniques at 35m and handling complex emergency situations.
Advanced First Aid Training: Comprehensive emergency response skills for offshore spearfishing, including managing injuries, hypoxia, and water-related trauma.
Mental and Physical Conditioning: Breath-hold strategies for extended dives, managing CO2 tolerance, and handling stress under pressure.
Physical Training for Spearfishing: How to periodize your training to maximize performance, endurance, and recovery for deep spearfishing.
Advanced Equipment Handling: Fine-tuning gear setups, including float lines, bungees, and custom rigs for targeting trophy fish.
Two Spearfishing Trips: The course includes two dedicated spearfishing trips over the three days, allowing you to apply advanced techniques in real world conditions.

Prerequisites:

Completion of the SF2 Spearfishing Course or certification as a Level 3 freediver from Molchanovs, AIDA, or another recognized freediving agency.
Comfortable diving to 30m+ in variable conditions.
